The coastal waters Nova Scotia including St.Margaret’s Bay  are home to many beautiful marine animals, fish and sea birds. With the right combination of time of year, weather conditions, location and of course luck it is posible to see some of the following animals:-

It is granted that you will be able to to see some of these creatures from shore ( a good pair of binoculars essential ), but the chances are increased many times by taking a boat tour. Not only will you be able to get up close and see them in their natural habitat but a good charter skipper will have good local knowledge & contacts with local fishermen as to the location of the more elusive species.

The following boat tours are highly  recommended, please give feedback on how you get on and email any photos that you may have for publication on this website. Send to:- info@st-margaretsbay.com
