Queensland, Nova Scotia is a small community found on the Northern shore of St. Margaret's Bay along Trunk 3 ( lighthouse route) approx. 42 km from halifax and is neighbours with Black Point & Hubbards,

Ther are 3 beaches found in Queensland:-

Puddle beach is a beautiful sheltered sandy beach but there is limited space so early arrival is recommended.

Queensland Beach is a beautiful sandy beach which is lifeguard protected in the summer months, making it very popular with families.  There is ample parking with toilet fascilities  & refreshments nearby.

Cleveland Beach Provincial Park is another sandy beach ,although the sand is washed away in the winter during the storms but returns for the summer.  There is a picnic area with tables &  toilet facilities (seasonal) & a walking trail around the peninsular.
